But they require original supporting documents (original passport, drivers license, marriage license, etc.). If I mail those in to them, how do i get them back??. thanks!.

Don't use a form letter, they will think you are trying to con them. Just write a sincere letter, one page only, out lining the changes that cause you to not be able to fulfill your obligations. You will need back up proof, death certificate, pink slip, proof of disability, whatever the cause is they will need documentation, including the dates the changed occurred... . Do not go on and on with your sob story, they literally will stop reading it if sounds like you are just whining.

I need to write a business letter to the local water department, asking for information about fluoride supplements.. This is for a Tech. Writing course.. I'm not sure how I'm going to write it. I really need some help and will very much appreciate it!.

What does a trust clause mean, in simple terms?. give some examples. =]. Well i live in the state of California, it doesn't need to be detailed and exact, its just that i have to make a will for one of my classes, and it's about this old lady and blabhablah, but i'm not sure what to put in that section, like who to appoint as trustee? because the old lady appointed a representative that will be the executor of her will, but that's in a different section of the will.. she also has an adopted son that's incompetent, so she assigned her niece to take care of him, and the niece is going to get 1500 a month for taking care of the boy, so im not sure if that would go in that section? or somewhere else, because since there is a guardianship clause after that, i was thinking of puting her in there, but i dont know if the amount she will be getting goes there too =/.

Your sense of communication is pretty good. I do, however, sense a tone in your letter that you're trying to come across a little too fancy.. . With writing, especially this kind of writing, remember that when you're editing, whatever doesn't kill it makes it stronger.. . I'd be inclined to scratch the first paragraph and start with the second. Instead of "I'm applying for a job..." (duh!), start off with "I have proven customer service skills..." It would make your letter a bit different from the other they're reading, but why not start out right from the get go by stating your qualifications. After you've told them the qualities you have, then say you're looking for a job with their company.. . I also don't like starting a letter with "I'm writing today..." Anything you can put "Duh!" behind and it doesn't look out of place, cut it. Of course you're writing today. Everybody uses that as an intro, but when you look at it, those are meaningless words. Get to the meat as soon as possible.. . Spell out anything below 10. " I have two and one-half years..." Better yet would be "I have more than two years experience..." Then you don't have to use clunky percentages and your paragraph will read more smoothly.. . Don' start sentences without the "I am..." etc. Say "I am available..." instead of "Available..." be as efficient with your words as possible, but don't leave out the little words to make your writing more readable.. . Try to rewrite in a more plain-English tone. Don't try to use big words or fancy words.

I'm sending images to a potential employer, along with my resume and cover letter, through email. I'm including an image index to describe media, dimensions, etc. How should I poperly format this? Any website you've found that has samples? Thanks very much..
