Im a sophomore in high school and im currently looking at colleges. I really want to an event manager/concert manager or something along those lines and my older sibling gave me the idea to email companies who do stuff like that and see where employees etc got their education and what not so im going to do it, but i have a few questions.. 1. Do I start the email as "To whom it may concern:" or just "**insert company name**" or does it depend on the like the size of the company and how big it is or what?. 2. Should I make the email extra formal or try to kind of be myself?. 3. Should I use the email addresses provided that are like "info@**company**.com" or look for another address??. 4. Is it bad to ask if they might have internships or learning opportunities i could take advantage of over the summer (if they have offices by me)??. . ANY OTHER TIPS AND ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!. thanks so much.

    what is your mock draft?.

Well its a little more complicated than a name change. You see the name on my birth certificate is a different than the name I use at school. The name on my certificate is well the same as my dad except I am Jr. My mom and dad had disagreements about it but they decided on that name. Well throughout that my family didn't call me by his name but instead by a shorter version of the name. So later when I started school my mom signed me up with the shorter version of the name and her last name and not my dads. Well seeing as how I grew up by the shorter first name he didn't have a problem and he didn't care if I used my moms last name. So now a decade+ later I am having problems. Im 16 and I can't get a job or get my drivers license! Because well the name I have went to school ever since pre k is not the same as the one on my ss card or birth certificate. Well my parents apparently didn't think this would be a problem and well now it is. We haven't talked to the school because I don't want to go by the name on the birth certificate since I grew up being known by a different name. What I am asking is how would I go about this? . What Im thinking we should do is just get a name change and then I take the paper work with the name change to the school and then the problem is fixed. Anyone have an Idea how long this will take? If I get lawyer how much faster would it be and about how much would the whole thing cost me? I just wanted to ask to see if anyone here had some info before we went to consult a lawyer. And also what type of lawyer would I need for this?. Well you see since this is Texas and theirs a lot of well illegals the school doesn't ask you for a birth certificate or SS card and they just assign you a number. The reason I think it would be best for a lawyer is because itll go faster that way.. Also which court would I have to get to get the proper paper work and file it? Ive tried looking this up but its usually websites selling the forms or to print them but I want to know where to get them myself from the court..
