• Laura graduated from Law School in 2003 after which she did Family Law, Social Security Law and Immigration law with a private law firm.? She then worked at the State Guardian ad Litem office in St. George, representing children in district court and juvenile court cases who had been abused, neglected or abandoned.?? She moved back to Salt Lake in 2007, where she worked representing children involved in high conflict divorces for the Guardian ad Litem’s office in the West Jordan Courthouse until starting Just Law in 2010.?Laura is a trained mediator, receiving her basic mediation training at the Utah State Courts in 2007 and her advanced domestic mediation training at the Center for Advanced Mediation Studies in 2009. She has attended over a hundred mediations and is a firm believer that people can create the best solutions for their own problems, they may just need a little help to do so.Laura received her training in Collaborative Law in 2012 and is a member of the Utah Collaborative Professional’s group.? I worked the cash register on my first day at Hollister, but I've had experiences working with the cash registers firsthand since I worked at American Eagle before getting a job at Hollister. I don't think I was supposed to work the cash register since it was my first day, but one of the managers let me since we had a lot of customers and I had experience working with cash registers. I really like working the cash register because I like the feeling of selling something to a customer since I want to major in business. You can talk to your managers about it if you really want to work the cash registers.. . And I really love working at Hollister. The environment is so chill and most of my co-workers are super laid back. Some of my co-workers like to gossip though so that's a downside to working there. I also love the music they play in the store (very relaxing), and my shifts are usually fun (when I'm not dealing with rude customers). My manager (a he) is super considerate of everyone who works there while my other manager (a she) isn't quite flexible and sometimes rude. Hate to admit it, but it's funny to see them arguing sometimes. But overall, I like working there even if the hours do suck sometimes.
