I would recommend that the best way would be for the client to pay the company. I have been a freelance consulting and am now a business owner. Being a business owner is great because you have more tax breaks. Consult with a CPA to see what tax benefits you can receive.. . If you are payed as an employee then you are subject to your employer's rules and regulations. Being a consultant, gives you more leverage since you are not an employee but you are subject to the conditions of the contract you have signed with your client. As a business owner, you sign an agreement with your client. This gives you more control over the situation, in my experience. Hope that helped!
