Write like a professional. Your writing says everything about you, including how you start your novel and how you write your query letter. There are many things that tell people you're an amateur, especially your writing. Your query letter gives them a glimpse of your writing. How you present yourself to them professionally in your query letter tells them whether or not you're an amateur. First and foremost, they're going to see your writing. They're going to see it in your query and in your sample pages, if you provide any. If you're making amateur writing mistakes in your query or if you write a query where it's obvious that you still need to hone your writing skill, they'll reject you without looking at your work because you'll most likely be making the same mistakes in your manuscript (book) that you're making in your query.

Okay this guy and I have dated 2 times so far, he is the typical dork with lots of money..... But I think that their is more to the story, he seems to like spending his money on lavish gifts for me... And it does not do him anygood when he spends allot of time on what he calls "lunch breaks" and or that he is just out with a friend..... I honestly think he is running some game and useing this dork facade as a cover up. I am not the typical fall in love fast type person, so I will leave his azz instantly if I discover this to be true.... He told me he could fall in love with me, I may look innocent and naive but looks are definetly deceiving in this case, I told him instantly that he was a fool and that he is only speaking from lust, I may seem a bit brash but I do not care when it comes to these such matters. I do know that on fb his little ex told him she did not see what he sees in me, he is even the one that showed me, as if he was trying to belittle me or make it seem like I should be lucky he sees something in me, either way I told him that I did not care..I really didnt and dont simply put he seems to like to play with emotions... I kinda lack any emotions for him at this point so he is really playing in his own world.... I have not gaven him sex as I am a virgin and not stupid. When he buys me stuff I just want to deck him, it makes me feel good, bad, in debt and frustrated all together. I told him frankly that he was not getting sex from me until I feel it was the time, he said it was not about the sex...though I doubt it.
