• Raymond Zakari earned his B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After Santa Barbara he attended Law School at the University of Oregon, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school Zakari was a co-founder and later president of the Native American Law Students Association, he worked for and on behalf of several Native American Tribes.

  After moving to Los Angeles, Zakari started as a tenants' advocate with a single religious discrimination case which he successfully settled five years later, after defeating multiple appeals by opposing counsel.?He quickly found his niche and gained a reputation as an aggressive, effective, yet ethical litigator. Zakari founded Zakari Law with the goal of representing both landlords and tenants in commercial and residential disputes. Zakari has taken on difficult appeals and won them, and he his client base includes several large property management companies.
