This experience enables David to more effectively represent businesses and other private clients, and he regularly appears on their behalf before governmental entities. He carries this expertise into his health care practice, where he has handled and specializes in hospital and medical office development, medical office leasing, compliance with federal self-referral (Stark) and anti-kickback requirements, condominium and property tax concerns, and governance of public or municipal facilities.

He is a member of the board of directors of the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce, and was recently elected to its executive committee. He serves on the City of Westwood, Kansas, Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, and on the 47th and Mission Road Area Redevelopment and Management Committee in the Kansas City area. He is also a member of the Leavenworth County Development Corporation and the Wyandotte Economic Development Council.
