I NEED AN EXAMPLE OF A BUSINEES LETTER CAN SOMEONE HELP ME.
edit: I did my legal name change 3 months BEFORE my RLT (went full-time in conjuction w/FFS). Before I did I checked with my employer and they were cool with it. So for a while at work I had two ID's. A male one on the outside for show purposes, and the new female one in my pocket.. . Before my RLT the only time I had an issue was when I bought a new computer. Because it was a large purchase they wanted to see my driver's license. At that time I was living as myself everywhere except work and still hadn't done the legal name change. So I had to give them the male license and show them my carry letter from my therapist. (Ick!) That was also the only time I ever used that carry letter.
Once a complaint has been filed and the police have charged you with a crime and the police are the only ones besides the Prosecutor who can, an individual cannot press charges against anyone and an individual cannot drop charges that have been filed, your best possible option is to go to the States attorney's office and speak to them in person it will have more weight than just sending a letter, they will have questions that they will want to ask you and in person they can, otherwise you can write a letter in a letter format as you would to anyone in a business relationship, but they do not have to drop the charges just because you want them to, and another myth is that the police cannot arrest you and charge you when they see you hit someone if you do not press charges, as previously stated you cannot press charges.}{
