any good urls for tips on writing a cover letter?

Dear Ms Redinclaw,. . Allow me to present my first novel, a stunning & epic tale of love and cannibalism set against the sweeping backdrop of the Hackney Road Cleansing Services department. My style combines the sassy, street-smart writing of Martin Amis with the philosophical scope and ambition of a George Orwell / Ben Elton. I've attached a five page synopsis, blurb for the rear cover, a short three page bio and photograph, and a sketch marketing plan for the Hackney / Barnet / North American areas.. . I have sent the book to a number of agents and expect to be ready to interview my shortlist in the last week of December. I have enclosed inadequate postage and I have chosen to print my novel in a flattering and distinctive green ink.. . Yours in expectation. . Mr Littlelamb

A sample of water was tested. They placed the sample under a microscope, and to their considerable amazement, they noticed an unidentified single celled organism. The scientists nicknamed it "Sue". Sue took up 20% of the field of view under high power (10x eyepiece and 40x objective, low power (10x) field diameter is 1500 um), had cilia, and an oral groove resembling a paramecium =. However, Sue was distinctly different from a paramecium, he had flagellum and an abnormal number of mitochondria. When Sue was viewed under an electron microscope she had a strange shaped protein on the surface of her cell membrane. This protein was isolated and found to contain the following order of amino acids: crystine-serine-crystine-alanine-methion... The function of the protein is not yet known. . #2: What advantage would a flagellum provide Sue? -You don't have to tell me the answer. You can put a link that describes what the flagellum does. I can't find any good ones. . #3: Why might Sue have a greater number of mitochondria than normal? -I think it has to do with the cilia and he oral groove. . #4: Draw a structural model of the membrane protein. Be sure to include the various "R" groups in your drawing. -Would I just write out the crysine-serine etc...formula? . #5: Draw a cell membrane and include the protein found on Sue. Be sure to include each amino acid and where it is located in relation to the cell membrane. Remember some amino acids attract water while others repel water. -This question confuses me. Can you reexpplain it to me please. . #6: Propose a hypothesis for the function of the membrane protein and devise an experiment to test your hypothesis, be sure to include materials and safety precautions needed..

It's always good form to do some research on the company and determine what their business model is. That way, when you write your cover letter, you can include some of your skills or work history and specify how that makes you the best candidate for the job given your specific knowledge about the company.. . Generally, a cover letter is a brief introduction to you and your work history. As I just mentioned, it also includes some information about why you would be the best candidate for the job. Show some enthusiasm here. You really want this job, so tell them you are "excited to hear about" this open position.
