Huh, that is really strange. I changed my name a year ago and (other than having to wait in line) had little trouble. And yes, I had to wait until AFTER I went to the Social Security Office to get my new Driver's License.

Ok i am looking to change my name with the UK deed poll but in my internet search it comes up with to many different services of which many look fake. All i know is that the real UK deed poll is free and most of the ones i have looked at are charging money which i know the should not be doing. so can any one help me with a link to th real national UK Deed-Poll..

What were the terms of your power of attorney? If obtaining loans or conducting financial transactions were not included, he has a case. If it was, it's going to be difficult for him to prove that "financial transactions" didn't include taking out a personal loan (unless that was specifically excluded).

My grandfather was a banker and made a lot of money over his lifetime. He passed away 15 years ago and left millions and a multi-million dollar house in his will. The deal was the house would be given to my three aunts, the money would be put in a trust until my grandmother died and the rest would go to my father..the only son. The beach house could be used by all the family until my grandmother dies and then it would be my aunts, one has passed since then. Well my uncle who is married to one of my aunts in in charge of the will. He had the will changed a few years ago so my grandmother would pay for my cousins university cost. BUT he also had the will changed when I was younger to cut out education expenses! That meant at the time it wouldnt pay for my college! Our family had a vacation planned for the fourth of July week for the first time in years and today i find out we cant go because they are renovating the house! To beat that on my dads inheritance! Even though the house is legally my aunts...all expenses are being paid out of the trust money. My father gets a monthly statement of "his" money and a quarter millions dollars has been spent in the last couple years on this house alone. My grandmom pays all utilities, property taxes and renovations. My dad hasnt done anything about it but now he is pissed because they wont even let us go on a week vacation for a house that he is paying for. What can be done? My uncle is taking advantage of my grandmother and this needs to stop. The house is located in Four Mile village close to Destin Florida. Houses there go for 2 million plus and my dads inheritance is well under a million now and being spent fast. He doesnt even care about the money he just wants my uncle to quit being greedy.. Ha! so you all are saying we have been lied to? My Father complained about changing things to accommodate education expenses but my grandmother just pays for it herself. I though that the bank/someone would catch this. My grandmother told me that all money spent has to be accounted for. Im confused now. I am in the will so can I obtain a copy of it myself to try to figure out what is going on?.
