• David Backenstoe graduated from California State University Northridge with a bachelors degree in History. He then attended Pepperdine University School of Law. After graduation, he worked in the areas of real estate, personal injury and environmental law.

  Mr. Backenstoe joined Brayton Purcell as an associate attorney in March of 1995. His current legal interests include asbestos, tobacco and animal law.
