It's always better to have someone who knows what they're doing on your side, especially when you have a lot of questions. Plus he'll be looking after your butt legally, although it's also good to get a real estate lawyer to look at and check everything before you go through with the deal (a REAL ESTATE lawyer, not a general lawyer). A real estate agent is an expert in real estate but not in the law. Real estate usually deals with a lot of money so you really don't want legal problems popping up unexpectedly later on. It's really not a good idea to skip these two professionals when buying real estate. There's just too much money involved in these deals and too many things that can go wrong. Especially if you end up with a seller who's an SOB in sheep's clothing. And with big money involved, there are more of these than you realize.. . By the way, your buyer's agent will handle the seller's agent for you and make up the paperwork for you to make an offer for any house you want after you discuss with him what you want to do and/or not do. Whatever he does, you have to give the final okay to and sign beforehand, so you're always ultimately in control. Just make sure you read and understand everything you sign.. . You might consider getting a book on buying a house so you know what's possible and all the questions you'll want to ask throughout the deal so that you're always ultimately in control.. . By the way, three of the most important things to get done, in addition to getting a buyer's agent and real estate lawyer is to get the house appraised by a professional appraiser, inspected by a professional inspector, and surveyed by a surveyor (all hired by YOU). You'd be amazed what these guys can find out that you never would otherwise. For example, just because a fence is where it is doesn't necessarily mean that's where the property line is. You'll want to know about parts of the property that may not be yours, restrictions on the use and sale of the property/house, etc. All these warnings would be told to you by your agent, but just in case you decide to do this on your own.... . Nothing is foolproof but you always want the odds in your favor, especially when there's a lot of money involved. I know from your question that you don't want to spend any more than you absolutely have to, but keep in mind that all your expenses can be stretched out over the life of your loan. Any problems afterward can cost a WHOLE LOT of immediate time and money and heartache... a lot more than you'll ever save by not getting your half of the deal done up right right at the beginning. Plus you'll sleep better at night afterward.. . Good luck!

A bit over a year ago, my mother had a major heart operation. She also is on a walker, has fallen alone before, and I help with shopping, doing things around the house, and in general. I think the next step for her would be an assisted or independent living facility. She also has persistent coughing problems which are indicative of heart failure, which she still has but is coping with with medication. She is in poor health, but does not yet require a nurse.

Crafts for ABC in letter shape?

Also, regarding "Education?" You say 'Bakersfield College, grad. 2011, but don't say what degree you graduated with. Was your degree, or certificate, related to becoming a security guard? Whatever--just spell out what you graduated with. "Security Guard Training" does not belong under 'skills' because it's not a skill, it's training. Double-check your grammar.
