I vaguely remember reading some letters in high school that were written during the Civil War which were very eloquent and beautifully written. I'm looking for something like that. I borrowed money from Pioneer Credit Corp. about four years ago, in the amount of $1500...I still owe all of it, having gone through a divorce and unable to pay it, they have called and harassed me constantly. I recently moved to a new location, with my fiancee, and my ex-wife gave the Credit Corp. my fiancee's number, and they are now harassing me here, saying they will track me down at my grandson's football game to collect the debt. Is this legal? I have read the laws, and it says they cannot contact 3rd parties more than once if the 3rd party does not wish to provide information, but she called my fiancee twice, after being told by my fiancee that she did not want to provide the information. I also did not believe it was legal for them to discuss my debt situation with someone who was not my spouse or attorney, yet, they were discussing it with my ex! Help?.

I am in nursing and want OUT. I haven't finished my Bachelors, yet, so I do have some flexibility. Are these two degrees worthwhile? I know everyone has been conditioned to think that nursing is where it's at, but that couldn't be further from the truth.. . I am starting to hear about these two degrees, more often. I have a friend who was making nearly $100,000/year before the economy crashed. She had a Health Care Admin. Bachelors. The Health Information Technologies seems to be a newer major.. . The ONLY thing that scares me is...I see these two degrees advertised on University of Phoenix, Kaplan, and DeVry..none of which have good reputation..they are all pretty much jokes of school. Of course, I would finish my Bachelors traditionally, through a brick and mortar school.. . Feedback? There doesn't seem to be a lot of information or people in this particular field.. No, nursing is far from what society sees it as. I put in my dues, and now I have a nursing license. I look at it as something to fall back on. Any person with a decent amount of self respect wouldn't want to stay in this field. So you're right, it does take a certain person to condition themselves to the amount of degradation that comes with nursing. That person is not me.
