  • Zealous advocacy that is none-the-less cordial and distinguished by high quality and ethical standards best describes our practical approach. We avoid belligerence in favor of a knowledgeable presentation of facts and law, handling high profile cases sensitively, and preparing each case appropriately, in the belief that a well-prepared case leads to the best result whether at trial or settlement. Although we may resolve disputes early when it is in the best interests of our client to do so, we are far from reluctant to go to court. We invite comparison of our results to those of other practices.

Can you help devise a tax code for a country?

I am wanting to write a letter to other businesses about my business in the hope that I can acheive work from them. What I am needing is a basic letter of introduction, with what my business does and how I can assist them. Can anyone please tell me where I can go (Would like it to be FREE) to find out any templates?? Thanks.

What Exactly is a Cover Letter?

It says they care about the student.. . "We've all taken him under our wings" -- In some communal bird species, adult birds will protect and nurture helpless chicks, even when they are not their own. It's a form of love to insure that the chick doesn't come into any harm.. . "He's quite bright." -- Clearly the teacher is impressed with how intelligent the student is, but there may be some concern that his intelligence isn't obvious and on the surface. A LOT of extremely smart people don't come across as smart because they don't fit the "template" of how we measure intelligence. The teacher is making sure everyone is aware there is a diamond within the rough.. . "He's just a little different" -- Again, the teacher is insuring that any prejudices people have against the kid, for whatever reason, are knocked down. Yes, this kid doesn't fit the template, but the teacher wants to make sure people don't judge him by his cover.. . "Thank you so much for helping him." -- Here's where I know the teacher really cares. She's not unloading him onto some one. She is geniuinely concerned about his success and wants to make sure that anyone who helps him knows how much their contribution is appreciated.. . I don't see anything negative, if that's what you were thinking. If anything, the kid should feel happy that this teacher really cares about him, and do his best to show her that her attention and belief in him is truly well-deserved.

A query letter (different than a proposal) consists of the above information and your own gratitude. They need nothing else. though, if more has been asked for, you need to include it!. . To start off -- and this may be of little help -- include your own header (either typed, stamped, or stickied (professionally). Typically, an agent or publisher will want to see all of your contact information and some of their contact information before reading the main body of a query. There are reasons for this: They want to know who you are and whether or not you can even be reached, and they need to know that this message has been sent to them FOR them and not anyone else. Some people choose to include this sort of information at the left side of the page, stacked on top of itself in two groups (your info, agent/publisher's info). It's all up to you. Just make sure it's not cluttered and that the agent/publisher doesn't have to look everywhere to find your info.. . Next!. . Now, from what I've read, it's best to keep in mind time constraints. The agents, "publishers," and editors reading your query want you to get to the point. You have to include the most important information in a short amount of time. Try something like this:. . First paragraph: Introduction ("It's a pleasure to be speaking to you... name is ____, writing under the pen name of ____..."). --- This should be your shortest paragraph, if included. Get the introduction over with in two or three short sentences. In this paragraph, include your story's name and approximate word count (don't use the word approximate
