Here is a site showing a declining letter.

The company is saying that the W2 stands, as they show they cut him checks for that amount last year (whether it was salary or reimbursements)..

Has someone got time to draft a template to give my tenant notice to leave?

I've only changed my name for marriage reasons, and it hasn't been too much of a pain. My employer was good about changing it, and when I went back to school I was able to change it on all of my information. Even my transcripts from the college I graduated from had my new name on it after I changed it with the Alumni office. . Once you change your social everything can basically be changed over to the new name, because that's you now...and no one asked me why I changed my name, I expected some people to be like "oh you got married?!" but no one seemed to care.. Just don't make a big deal about it, be clear and straightforward. If people see you act uncomfortable when telling them you changed it, they'll think something interesting happened. If you're just like "Yes, I changed my name." Period. They'll just move on... At least that's what I think.... . EDIT: my grandmother has changed her name 3 times (once she even changed her full name the first time she got married....first, middle and last) and as far as I know no one has had issues with it....

You can absolutely sell your interest. It will be hard to find a qualified buyer who understands these stipulations but if you are work with a private investor they would be happy to work with you although their profit would not be gained for at least a decade :). . Good luck to you and all that comes your way !
