    Job Portfolio Question?

Yes, yes it should. ok where to start?.. . Diseases: the spread of STDs are horrible yes and sex does transmit those diseases, as stated by its name. sex in a brothel helps to PREVENT the spread of STDs. the governments constant regulation of the brothels with their always use a condom and regular testing pretty much keeps spreading of STDs to a minimum, in fact there hasn't been a + test for HIV in a legal brothel in Nevada since like 1986 hen testing was mandatory. its either have a federal regulated safe place for sex or go to the disease infested streets, cause if its legal or not there still going to be people soliciting sex regardless one would just be safer.. . Victimizing Women: first of all why are women the only ones that can be victim, there are male prostitutes too. Keeping prostitution illegal wont change a thing they would still be victimized assaulted on the streets by clientele and pimps. To keep them safe and protected, we need to legalize prostitution where they will be safer from STDs assault and being used by pimps. in legal brothels women would have more rights like the right to refuse sex and have a 8 hour work week, and take home a whole lot more of the money they earned than then did on the streets.. . Jobs: if prostitution was nationally legalized it would create numerous amounts of taxable jobs, unlike its illegal counterpart. not only workers in the brothels but the construction and decorating companies that will be hired to build the brothels, and the federal jobs it will make to regulate those brothels and keep them up to standard. . Crime: with all those pimps/drug dealers out of jobs crime rate would go down. When people hear the legalization of prostitution they usually think it would bring crime and drugs because when they normally think prostitution they think of pimps and guns and drugs all being sold on the streets, but what they don't realize is that's not how the sex would be sold, it would be sold legitimately so brothel owners would make sure the last thing that they see in their brothel is illegal substances that could cause them to loose their business, its the same old story during prohibition, because alcohol was illegal it was drawn towards drugs and crime and bootleggers, but when it was legalized and sold in bars most if not all of its crime went away. . Prostitution is going to happen whether you like it or not, its inevitable and all attempts to prevent it is futile. The only logical approach to the problem is to make it safe, sanitary, and taxable.
