Under what circumstances would a bank agree to organise a chargeback? I recently bought something from ebay and never received the goods. Paypal aren't being very helpful.. Ok, I think I'm screwed since the funds came from my bank account and the user has either cancelled their ebay membership or been suspended... either way, I can't get in touch with them. Grr!.

My father just passed away. He had an attorney make a living trust for him. Now that he is gone I can't get money out of his checking account to pay my mother's mortage because the checking account was never added to the trust. The bank stated they will freez the account for 45 days. Also the attorney never had my dad noterize the deed for his share of a property he owned. Now the attorney wants more money to "make things right". Is it the attorney's responsibility to get all the trust "funded"? I can't believe an attorney left it up to an 87 year old man to get documents noterized by himself..

. Lets say I owe a credit card $1000 from 5 years ago. If my credit already sucks why not offer $500 (or whatever) with the condition that anything negative regarding my experience with them be removed from my credit report? Wouldn't they just assume agree to this and get some money rather than possibly nothing???.
