1 thing at a time. When you get a divorce, you simply get your drivers liscence back to your previous last name, and also fill out a form for soc security, which is very important.. Then, if you want to change your name in any other way you must go to court and do all the legal stuff and pay all the fees etc, that is completely different. Remember during your lifetime all name changes need to go to sos sec, when your older, If yuo have a bunch of jobs n a few dif names, you will not get credit for all that money from all those names without notifying sos sec. It costs nothing, and prevents months if not years of fighting to get what is legally yours.. Make sure you know your legal name, make sure your parents actually submitted and paid for a name change before you start go messing with things. . If you can afford it, go for it, if not, you can call yourself anyting you want, just at work make sure the paperwork is following the legalities, but altert others of what you prefer to be called.. Id spend my hard money on something other than a frivilous thing on more tangable thing.
