I was too nice and got a town home under my name for my dad and he decided to move right after I resigned a 1 yr lease. I recently had a baby and have to get a bigger place but I have this eviction. I found a new complex that will except my eviction if I have a letter stating I didn't live there just my father.. What does the letter state exactly and is it a legal letter??.

If the trustee of a trust gave someone power of attorney, then it is possible... as the power of attorney may have the right to act on the trustees behalf if the limitations allow it. So my first advice would be to get your hands on the POA and read it. POA is only voided if it is revoked or upon death of the trustee.
