If your state enacted a law that you would be required to have a 3 day recession period for these contracts then the contract would not be in effect until the three day recession period is over. How do I change my surname in the UK? My surname is stupid, dosent match me or my religions. Its also kind of embarassing.. . I heard there's this deed poll where 2 people you know have to sign the paper or sumthin.... . Then it has to be advertised in the newspaper, why is that?

1. My dad created a will & trust in 1995.. 2. In 2002 he rewrote the will, and partially amended the trust.. 3. Problem: . The will specifically states that 21+ years from dads death, the trust terminates, which means when I am 70, i get whats left.. . The trust, says: 21 years from the death of the last beneficary or when youngest grandchild is 25, trust terminates.. . In both cases I get income for life.. In both when I die dads grandkids get it all.. In the later, I dont get anything else.. In the former, I get it all if I live long enough.. . My lawyer says Im stuck, though I could likley contest that 'conflictive' per dads intent really is the 'will' but that its proabbkly not going to be doable.. . POint to add:. The copy of the trust came from my dads widow (prenup).. . Btw, in a 'now removed' answer. the persons stated it was wrong to ask opinion...he is wrong... . This is more for general research.. And I am already working with a lawyer, who also stated Im screwed.. . Btw, the other answer in the 'remvoed' said few will have both.. ALso wrong, any trust that doesnt have a 'corresponding' pourover will ...is invititing problems.. Thanks.. the will does have specific language relating to trust creation..but the trust was already in existiance.. . and the trust was amended previous to the death of my dad... but did not include his 'intent' which was in the will.. Will # 1 - pre 1995. Trust - 1995. Will rewrite 2002 - . Trust amendement - 2002 . Which included part of dads intent but not all (that the will covered).. In the latest will & trust, I am the sole income beneficary while alive.. . In the will, the termination language allows me to be the sole inheritof at age 70 (I am 49 now)... . In the trust,termination language is when dads youngest grandchild is 25 (kid is 13 now), and I am dead.. . Its very likley (but one never knows) that I will live another 15-25 years. . That child will be 30+ when all 5 grandkids inherit their share.. I agree that the trust is badly written..but what is even funnier ..is the guy who did it is supposedly one of the best 'estate' lawyers in Texas...
