Wills are generally indefinite, but there is one important and very common exception - marriage. A will automatically becomes invalid if the testator (the person making the will) marries.. . Oher than that...a will made when you are 18 will still be valid if you die aged 100, assuming you have not made any subsequent will since.. . Edit:. . Ignore the comments of michiganlawyer. He is talking about US law.

I was not allowed to leave the hospital. Is that legal?

My daughter was never married to the father of her child he came to the hospital when my grandson was born & gave him his last name, he only visited rarely my grandson draws a check for Social Security because the father is disabled recently the father came for a visit & took the 4 yr old home with him to visit, my grandson got sick & was taken to the Dr. he needs his tonsils out so he will have the surgery without his mother present because she is unable to make a long distance trip due to lack of transportation & other small children to care for. Now my question is my daughter is the legal guardian who my grandson lives with does the dad have the right to sign for surgery & make medical judgment with out her?,.
