I did not change my new married name at the social security office so I was denied (my husband and I ) any stimulus check what so ever. I guess this was our punishment. I just heard on the news that 1/4 million married couples did not receive their checks because of this and I am one of them. The news also said these people would be getting their checks soon if their social security issue was corrected. I went down and corrected this back in June at the SS Office and then I called and confirmed with IRS it was fixed. Has anyone heard anything about married couples FINALLY getting their refunds yet. I tried to call and ask and all I got was recorded information. Is there an 800 # I can call and talk to a live human about it? What have you heard on this issue?. Thanks. v b Thanks so much for the information. You cleared up a lot for me and I will just wait for my check at the end of November.. Thanks again for your educated response.

Hi,

I thought I was a model material, until they used me for extra in a movie and modeled once for hair, and realized I don't want anyone fuzzing with me top to bottom and are 'forced to wear and dress like a clown.". . Modeling is not just the pretty face or the height.. . Everyone can be a model.. . Look like one, dress like one, walk like one.. . Check out America's Next Top Model, so you can understand what goes on behind the modeling business. They own you top to bottom. Meaning, no if's, and's or but's. It's a very demanding career, and if you can handle stress and ready to give them 120% then you're IN. As any model candidate, would you be willing to give up your long beautiful hair, to look like Emma or Ashlee Simpson? Yes, that means, you'll be willing to give up ANYTHING to your image, to get to the top!. . There were 10,000 hopeful models for Victoria's Secret in Dec. fashion show also. Out of those, 5 were chosen as finalists, and only one was chosen as the winner. Check it out. It's not just a pretty face. It takes a certain walk, attitude, confidence & can stand the stress. Some models were discovered walking home from a vacation at the airport, sitting in restaurants with their family, or walking in the malls. Natalie Portman was discovered by a modeling agent at a pizza parlor, but she'd rather be an actress.. . I went to a Charm & Poise school, when I was in HS in hopes to land a modeling job someday
