  • William G. Deatherage, Jr. was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1944. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky in 1967, and he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 until 1970. Bill received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1972, and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1973. While in law school, Bill was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal.

    Bill is a member of the Christian County Bar Association (past president), the Kentucky Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Bill formerly served as a Trustee of the Clients' Security Fund, established and administered by the Kentucky Bar Association for the protection of clients of all Kentucky lawyers. Bill is a member and former governor of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys. Bill formerly served as Director of the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Bill is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Write such sentences as, "For 40 years, our family has provided top-notch tractors to farmers throughout the Northwest.". . 6) Provide an incentive. Give the reader a reason to buy your product or service. Offer a guarantee, a special price or complimentary installation. Give your reader a reason to act and encourage him to act quickly.. . 7) Ask for the sale. Close the letter by asking your reader to make a purchase. Provide them with a phone number, a website address or a coupon to a brick and mortar store. Ask them to make the purchase within a set amount of time.. . 8) Build the relationship.
