  • William D. Herlong - AV-Rated* Greenville, South Carolina Lawyer

William Herlong is one of Greenville's premier litigators. Since starting his own practice five years ago, he has achieved more than $11,000,000 in settlements and verdicts for his clients. These cases range from accidents with serious personal injuries to complex business disputes.

He is one of only a handful of lawyers in Greenville and Upstate South Carolina to be Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the?National Board of Legal Specialty Certification (NBLSC). The NBLSC is a non-profit organization accredited by the American Bar Association whose responsibility is to certify that attorneys are specially qualified in areas in which they seek to practice. In order to be certified one must meet rigorous experience requirements, ethical requirements, and demonstrate via testing one's competence. Unlike many organizations, one does not simply pay a fee to join. Those attorneys who are certified in their various fields have proven competency, not just to themselves but to their peers in the Bar and those serving as Judges. One of the objectives of the NBLSC is for the members of the public to feel confident that, when hiring a Board Certified attorney, they are getting quality representation, not because their attorney said so, but because the attorney's peers say so. • My name is William Herlong, and I founded The Herlong Law Firm in 2004 after more than 16 years of legal experience including litigation with some of the most prestigious law firms in the country and the role of general counsel and CEO of a startup company. As a Greenville, South Carolina, attorney, I believe in providing passionate, personal and sophisticated representation for business litigation clients, personal injury victims and class action suits. I do not take a great many cases, but when The Herlong Law Firm takes a case, I give it my all.

I have achieved an AV-rating* under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system and membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is limited to attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements. I studied biochemistry in college and believe that background, coupled with my big firm experience with taking exceedingly complex cases to trial, has made me a uniquely qualified trial lawyer capable of handling a range of personal injury cases, complex business litigation and class action lawsuits.

The focus of The Herlong Law Firm is to help small businesses and individuals find justice. Since 1989, I have practiced law in Greenville and during that time have tried approximately 100 cases, mostly to juries. I have a proven record of accomplishment and success for my clients in everything from personal injuries including death and dismemberment to business disputes, patent challenges, employment disputes and claims of professional malpractice. My trials and arbitrations have lasted up to 30 days with hundreds of millions of dollars in dispute.

You need to have a consultation with an estate planning attorney. This is too much money to rely on strangers on Yahoo.

The average agent contract is 120-180 days. Review the contract to see when it ends. The realtor works for you

? Why would you do that? The purpose of a POA is to pick someone to act on your behalf, acting as you want them to. If you don't have any personal friends or family to whom you wish to give that responsibility, simply prepare a living will, which specifies your desires, and carry if with you at all times, or at least when you expect to enter medical care.

Bank Guarantees and Stand-by Letters of Credit, AND how does it work please explain in simple language, THANKS!.

Changing my name UK (Deed poll Service)?

I am applying for an officer position in a student business club at my college. I am required to email a written application along with my resume. Should I write a cover email to go with my two attachments?. . It seems like it would be a little. 1) redundant since I just filled out an application where I explained why I am a good candidate, what my strengths/goals are, and pretty much everything I would say in my cover letter.. 2) inappropriate since this is not a job.. . If i didn't write one though it would be weird just sending a blank email with two attachments. What would I even write? "Here's my application. Enjoy.".
