  • McNamee Hosea, Attorneys and Advisors, (McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Lynch, P.A.), was founded as McNamee & Hosea, P.A. in 1982. The founders had been partners in the law firm of Beatty and McNamee (Hyattsville, Maryland) which Mr. McNamee co-founded in 1955.

    ?

At its inception in 1982, the firm concentrated in the areas of tax and corporate law (Mr. Hosea) and probate and real estate law (Mr. McNamee). Mr. Kim, who represents clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, joined the firm in 1985.

    ?

By 1988, McNamee Hosea had grown to a firm of seven attorneys. On December 1, 1988, it merged with Milton Jernigan and Associates, P.A., a corporate firm founded in 1982. This merger increased the firm to ten attorneys and expanded its expertise into the areas of franchise law and banking law.

    ?

Following the merger, Mr. Milton D. Jernigan, II was added as a named principal. Since that time, Mr. John P. Lynch and Mr. Garth E. Beall have been named as principals in the firm.

    ?

In January, 2002, McNamee Hosea merged with the Greenbelt offices of Greenan, Walker, and Billman bringing on two new partners, James M. Greenan and Thomas E. Walker (Billman is currently practicing in Annapolis at Trainor, Billman, Bennett & Milko LLP.). ?Mr. Greenan's areas of expertise include bankruptcy, corporate and federal civil litigation, while Mr. Walker's areas of expertise include personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice and legal malpractice, providing an even more diverse practice to better serve their clients.

    ?

From 2006 to 2009 the firm added five more principals to the firm's roster: Kevin M. Tracy (2006, Construction Litigation and Counseling), Mark W. Schweitzer (2007, Title Insurance Defense and Litigation), Brent M. Ahalt (2008, Civil Litigation), Christopher L. Hamlin (2008, Bankruptcy and Criminal Defense), and Craig M. Palik (2009, Corporate and Bankruptcy).??

    ?

In March 2011, the firm saw a need to expand its capacities and offer more opportunities in other practice areas. Therefore, the firm added Daniel F. Lynch, III as a principal.? This addition expanded the firm's expertise in the area of zoning and land use. ??Mr. Lynch?represents not only major Washington area developers and builders, but also national companies and franchised operations seeking to locate to or relocate within this area.? The firm also added an experienced?attorney that practices in the area of domestic and?family law.

    ?

Today, McNamee Hosea has grown to over 25 attorneys, and our practice areas have continued to expand to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

financial planning generally isn't called financial planning until you've earned your money and invested your money in different areas (have a portfolio with a broker). And you don't distribute anything either until you have money to distribute.. . What you'r asking about is personal budgeting. You can get a program to chart your progress like Quicken. You certainly could live inexpensively, either at home or in a studio apartment. you could be cheap and not entertain or go anywhere for a while. It's easiest if you plan to make a "monthly" budget. If you have a degree you should be on contract and get paid the 15th of each month Forget about vacations if you want to save the 20% down for a home. Your job position might require that you have a new car (buy one one year old instead). Eat inexpensively, don't get gym memberships (exercise at home), you don't need cable tv as you'll be too busy> There are lots of things you'll need to pay for so determine what you need and don't need, make wise choices. Don't have a friend or lover to rent with as that takes your mind off your goals for now.
