  • Meg Foley graduated from Georgetown University in May 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in American history. After graduation Meg moved to Denver and joined the National Civilian Community Corps, a division of AmeriCorps dedicated to strengthening communities through national service. Through AmeriCorps Meg worked for various nonprofit organizations, including the National Sports Center for the Disabled, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Red Cross.

    In December 2008, Meg graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school Meg gained practical legal experience by participating in the University of Denver Environmental Law Clinic and by working for the Environmental Protection Agency.

    Meg moved to Grand Junction in March 2009 when she joined Younge & Hockensmith, P.C., as an associate. Since joining the firm Meg has worked almost exclusively as an insurance defense litigator, and she recently opened and works out of the firm's Durango office.

    Meg and her husband spend their weekends skiing, mountain biking, and climbing fourteeners. While living in Grand Junction, Meg volunteered her time with the Junior Service League of Grand Junction, and she chaired the Mesa County Call-a-Lawyer program in 2012. Meg's husband, Joe Pecorino, is an assistant principal at Durango High School.
