Mr. Francis joined the firm in 2013 after completing his Juris Doctorate at the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Ga. He is a Gainesville native and a graduate of Lakeview Academy. He went on to receive a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science with a Minor in Leadership from North Georgia College and State University (NGCSU). While at NGCSU, Mr. Francis was a member of a group of students who created the Introductory to Leadership Class. This class is based around the theories of servant leadership. Mr. Francis taught thirty (30) to sixty (60) students a semester over the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters of 2007 and Fall semester of 2008. The program was so successful that NGCSU has made it a required course for all incoming freshman and transfer students.

After graduating from NGCSU, Mr. Francis went on to attend the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. While at John Marshall, he was an active member of the legal community. In the Summer of 2009 he was an intern with the DeKalb County Solicitor's Officer in Decatur, Georgia, in the Summer of 2010 he was an intern with the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office in Decatur, Georgia, and in the Fall of 2011 he was an intern with the Hall County Solicitor's Office in Gainesville, Georgia. During these internships he was exposed to various aspects of law, from DUI and Battery cases to Armed Robbery and Drug Trafficking. He presented evidence to the Grand Jury, conducted first appearances and committal hearings on behalf of the State of Georgia, and tried cases in State Court. These internships have given him invaluable insight in the legal profession and experiences that one cannot get from inside a class room.

When not practicing law, Mr. Francis enjoys spending time with his friends and family and being active in the community. He attends Gainesville First United Methodist Church and is a member of the Atlanta Tennis and Lawn Association (ALTA).
