Our personal injury practice is statewide, while our federal courts practice is generally limited to the Florence and Columbia divisions.

Additionally, our attorneys have been consistently involved in the presentation of many legal seminars, the providing of pro bono services, and many civic community and charitable events.

Julie-this is hard to answer without knowing where you live. In my state, you can open and close a probate in a day. We have the Uniform Probate Code. You do not need a POA to open the probate. If your sister is "next of kin", she has no special standing just because she's older. In my state, the statute of limitations to do a Will is 3 years, but can be extended. Your deceased brother's estate could be done by affidavit here. You can download the forms off the internet or go to probate court and they will give them to you free. In my state, you would not need a lawyer. I charge about $250-400 for doing a probate. Again, in my state, I'd just give you the form and you could do it yourself. You do not need a POA and I cannot imagine why not need to dissolve a restraining order. However, this sounds very confusing to you, so why not spend a little bit of money to visit an attorney in your area for advice? Your state bar association may have a list of attorneys who give free consultations--my state bar does.

Once you have passed out the fliers for at least 3-4 months start you a newsletter covering topics on the real estate business. Get articles from your local newspaper as well as off the internet. Just remember to give credit to the author of the article. You might have a doctor, lawyer or some other professional to help you on your articles. Charge them for the articles, about 50% of the cost of the newsletter.. . Now remember the businesses that you had your fliers in and you now know their names because you have been there to change your fliers abou

In your particular case, the money or proceeds of the sale belong to the parents. The proceeds should be deposited to the acccount of the parents and should be used for their benefit. The proceeds do not belong to the person holding the Power of Attorney or to any of the other children.. .
