  • Euel received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University Of Detroit School Of Law.

In 1984, Euel began his legal career an associate at Sachs, Nunn, Kates, Kadushin, & O'Hare, Halveston and Waldman P.C., a large firm which handled Personal Injury, Labor Law and Workers Compensation, where he litigated Workers Compensation cases and Labor Law issues.

Seeking to sharpen his trial skills, Euel then worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Wayne County from 1986 through 1988, before returning to civil litigation. While working as an assistant prosecutor, he handled several serious felony cases including several murder trials. Euel's proudest accomplishments there were the successful prosecution of the husband and the killer he hired of a 70 year old owner of a Detroit hotel, and a young assailant who blinded a man (who later became mayor of a Detroit suburb) with a shotgun blast to the face in his own home.

Since 1988, Euel's practice has primarily been focused on medical malpractice litigation. A substantial portion of his practice has been dedicated to representing children who have sustained birth injuries. During those years, he has successfully resolved many cases, which have improved the quality of life for the child and their families. In 1997, Euel began to expand his practice beyond Michigan. His is licensed in seven states (MI, TN, AR, MS, WI, PA, TX) and actively practicing in five (MI, TN, AR, MS, WI). He is currently litigating cases involving birth trauma in Michigan, Tennessee and Arkansas. Euel has won several trials with verdicts in excess of $1,000,000. His largest verdict to date involved a birth trauma case in the Federal District Court in Wisconsin, which resulted in a net verdict of nearly $21,000,000. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Fifth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Euel has been recognized by his peers in the legal profession. He holds an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubble – their highest rating in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards. In addition he has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer for the last three consecutive years (2009-2012) and named Top Attorneys in Michigan as published by The New York Times in September 2012. He is recognized in Sutton Who's Who in American Law. He has published several articles on issues relating to medical malpractice and aviation.

Euel periodically sits as a case evaluator in Macomb and Wayne Counties reviewing other's personal injury cases. He is a member of the Michigan and American Associations for Justice.

Euel is also an accomplished pilot and very interested in aviation related issues. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Lifeline Pilots- the oldest organization of its type in the United States, which is dedicated to providing free non-emergency medical transportation to people in need. He served as chairman of the Board for two years (2008-2010) and currently sits on the Executive Board. In 2006, he received the Aircraft Owner's Pilot Association's (AOPA) Scharples Award in recognition for his work to preserve Detroit City Airport (Coleman A Young Airport). He is currently serving as a Council Member of the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and has served as Chairman of the Section in the past.

Euel has also given back to his community lecturing to EMTs, paralegals and firefighters, coaching soccer and softball for many years. He has served on the Board of Directors for two local sports organizations freely sharing his time and experience. Currently, Euel served as a Trustee on the Chippewa Valley School Board, the 9th largest district in Michigan, between April 2011 and November 2012, and served on the Curriculum and Finance Subcommittees.

Euel is also a member of The Forum Shoppers, a quartet comprised of attorneys and who perform around the State of Michigan singing an unusual variety of songs including satires about lawyers and judges, as well as conventional barbershop arrangements and gospel numbers. For six consecutive years their group has had the honor of singing the national anthem at Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers.

Changing name after marriage?

In the UK you can call yourself anything you want. As long as it isn't done for fraudulent reasons, it's all good. It also, technically, doesn't cost you anything to do as there isn't a legal procedure to follow.. Simply inform people that you will now be known by the new name(when you are eighteen) and you will be known by that name.. . In circumstances that require proof of name change(such as applying for a passport), you will need "evidence of a change of name" this evidence can be any of the below. . a letter from a responsible person. a public announcement. a statutory declaration. a deed poll.. . Some of the above cost a bit of money, with the deed poll presumably costing the most, but in this day and age it might be worth going down that route as banks and the likes don't tend to understand the law on name changes and make it impossible to open accounts without something "official" in front of them.
