  • Craig Simon represents clients in complex, high-stakes business disputes in courts and arbitrations around the country. He regularly represents clients in bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation, including fraudulent transfer, fiduciary duty, and supplier disputes. Craig also has extensive experience in injunction and receivership proceedings and in litigating plan confirmation contests, claims, and other disputes in chapter 11 cases.

    Craig currently serves as trial counsel for the QNA and QR Liquidating Trusts in asserting more than $100 million in contract, fraudulent conveyance, and other claims. Some of his other representations include: the creditors' committee in the Qimonda Richmond chapter 11 cases in Delaware; Qimonda North America in multiweek arbitration of contract claims; the GSI Group equity committee in plan confirmation litigation in Delaware; Tokyo Electron in claims litigation against Spansion; Dana Corporation in multiweek arbitration with its largest parts supplier; Worldwide Direct Liquidating Trust in litigation against former auditors; Kmart Creditor Trust in pursuit of claims against professionals and officers; and Physicians Resource Group Oversight Committee in multiweek trial of fraudulent transfer claims.

    Craig practiced as a CPA with a Big 4 firm and with a national real estate developer prior to entering law school. He has taught at SMU's Dedman School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Dallas Bar Association.
