I got a rejection letter in the mail today saying my benefits were denied because "you knowing failed to provide accurate information on your work application". This was after I didn't pass a post employment background check ran by one of their clients. I passed the preemployment background check for their company which did not include a credit check.

Healthcare power of attorney or "regular" power of attorney??. . If your father is not able or competent to make decisions about his health, you probably need to go to court to get appointed his conservator. Consult an attorney for sure. In my mother's case she was unconscious and as next of kin we made decisions and the hospital took our instructions.. . Regular power of attorney: If your dad is aware enough to sign a valid power of attorney, you go to a lawyer and ask him to draft up the document, which can be pretty simple, and then you get a notary to watch while you explain it to your dad and get him to agree to it and sign it.. . If the notary feels your dad may not be able to consent to the power of attorney they will refuse to notarize it (or should). If there's a serious doubt about it, you should get an opinion from his doctors. If they say he is competent to sign get a letter from them.

A little confused here. My husband and I put an offer on a short sale house.. We were told the previous owner's attorney took the offer and presented it to the bank.. Now we wait... . The realtor that spoke with me said this was a good thing that they had an attorney, that this attorney does short sales constantly and can help the process.. . Help it how?

The cover letter is your chance to say why you want the job, and why you are the best candidate. Tailoring the cover letter to each job you apply for is important because it shows interest and that you know something about the company and its mission. Do some research and include something the company stands for and why you are interested in working there. For example, the mission of NASA to explore the far reaches of the galaxy is a scientific goal which has always excited my interest in space travel. My unique qualifications as a test pilot and deep sea diver has prepared me to be an astronaut.. You could include the schools you attended course you took and experience you have that may apply to the job. If this is your first job then include hobbies, volunteer work, or other work experience even if you did not get paid for it. Any thing that demonstrates responsibility, and a good work ethic is good. Then close with a paragraph of what you can contribute to the company. This may include skills, work ethics, and loyalty. Best of luck The PracticaL Mentor

My soon to be ex-sister-in-law, wrote out a paper for divorce and she wants himtosign it, is that really legal, doesn't it have to be court stuff?.
