Is it a good idea to tell the company, you are seeking work for, that you are looking for a job so you can save up for college in another state? If not is it good to tell them during the interview?.
Could anyone helpme in writting a lay off letter for employees.
Standard form: Ax + By = C. y = -2/15x + 12. Add -2/15x to both sides. 2/15x + y = 12 should be the equation in standard form
Okay--this is very frustrating, and I feel for you.. I don't know what her diagnosis is--whether it be schizophrenia, or BiPolar. but there is a type of personality disorder called 'somatization'--in which the person acts out and constantly claims they have some physical ailment. Every test in the world can be done--and every ailment can be ruled out, and the person STILL insists they are sick/dying. She keeps 'upping the ante' by now threatening to kill herself.. She needs a stern, direct confrontation to her behaviour and explain that she will end up in a nursing home, or psychiatric (long term) facility. Ask her if that is what she wants.. Then ask her what she DOES want.. Then again it may be Alzheimers or some other form of dementia--in which case she cannot live alone and needs round-the-clock care--such as assisted living--or a dementia unit.. Unfortunately that is where my mom had to go 2 years ago--as she was calling '911' several times a week--and once at the hospital--there was nothing wrong.. many older people get isolated and start to decline quickly without company. they 'develop' physical and mental disorders to get the attention they seek.. The psychiatrists kind of have their hands tied, as she keeps doing the same behaviour--and may be acting out anyway she knows how.. With my mom she had to sell the house and everything in it and use the money to pay for a dementia unit in an assisted living facility.. Contact your county's Department of Aging--they have lots of resources and can answer questions.. Does your dad (or you) have power of attorney over your mom's health? if she is deemed incompetent to make her own healthcare decisions, then your dad and/or you will have to get a lawyer and become her durable p[ower of attorney. the dept of Aging can help with all of these issues.. Also, there should be a social worker involved with the psych nurse and doctor, who should be helping you with your mom's aftercare.. I hope this helps.. I know what you are going through--and it is very tough. Take it one day at a time--and take alot of deep breaths. Best wishes to you and your mom and dad.
