You don't need to legally change your name by deed poll after you get married in the UK. You simply start using the name and make copies of your marriage certificate. Send the copies to your bank, doctors surgery and anywhere else that holds your details and they will change your details at that particular establishment. Some places (banks, change of passport) need to see the original certificate, but you can just take it with you to the bank or passprt office and they'll make their own copies and hand it right back to you.

You'll need to call around to Wills & Estates and Elder Law attorneys. There are some who make house calls. You should expect to pay for their additional time for that service. It will be less expensive to take or mail the will(s), MedPOA's, and LPOA's to the attorney's office for them to review there prior to execution.

You have the right to dispute it IF something on it is inaccurate. If it is reporting accurately then there is nothing to dispute. If you were only an authorized user on the account then dispute it as the account is not in your name and request removal of it. Never use the simple "not mine" wording. If you were an AU then the account was legally not yours and it should be removed, regardless if it is a negative account.. . Order hard copies of your credit reports from all of the CRA's and have them mailed to you. Look them over for any inaccuracy. You might start by disputing off old addresses, since it's always possible for sensitive information to be mistakenly sent to an old address leaving you open to credit theft. If that debt is tied to an old address then it 'might' fall off when the address comes off.. . After cleaning up the personal section of your credit report, if the debt remains and there is any inaccuracy in what they are reporting you have the right to dispute the inaccuracy with each CRA that the inaccuracy is being reported with. By law it must either be removed or corrected. Never dispute online, always dispute in writing and sent by the USPS.. . You do not have the right to expect it to come off simply because it was written off and sold or assigned by the original creditor.. . If it was sold to a collector or if a collector is reporting it then the original creditor must report it with a zero balance.. . It's always possible for the creditors to start to harass you again, whether you dispute it or not.. . You might go to the free site I've posted in the source box and do some reading in the Newbie Forum and then in the Credit Forum. It is a totally free site to read, use any info you find on it and to ask any questions you may have. You'll be able to find info about what would be considered an inaccuracy per the FCRA, to find sample letter templates to use for your CRA disputes and to use for the collector, etc.

Print the CV on plain-white A4 paper, save some of the same type for the cover letter - did we say that you should never, but never! send a CV without a cover letter - and find matching A4 envelopes. If the announcement does not say anything about a cover letter, you still should send one. It introduces your CV to the reader, attracts attention to certain parts of it that you want to bring to light, or mentions aspects that for some reason could not be listed in your CV.. . To make it look neat, we suggest you use one of the Word pre-made formats, unless you are a computer-savvy and feel confident that you can produce an even better-structured and easier-to-read format. I currently live in Canada and plan to move to the US in January. I plan on staying there probably for just under 6 months, but I was wondering what I need to do to stay there longer?. . Basically I know I lose my Canadian health care after 6 months and I was also wondering whether or not I can apply for health care in the US if I am not a citizen. Probably a stupid question but I don't know.. . lol any help would be appreciated. thanks.. BTW I meant to word it was Health Insurance and I do understand I have to pay but I was just wondering whether or not I can if I'm not a citizen and was wondering whether or not I'd be allowed to stay in the US without citizenship and/or how to apply citizenship.. I don't think I'm actually allowed to just jump back and forth. To keep Canadian health care I need to be in Canada for 6 months and 1 day of the year, so I would still be a Canadian citizen but I wouldn't be entitled to health care if I stayed in the US for more than 6 months, which I'm fine with as long as I can get health insurance there. I don't really care what it costs.. lol sorry for the third update. First time I've actually used updates but I keep getting asked questions.. . I am moving to LA specifically to pursue screenwriting. I make around 400K/year so no I'm not really going to be getting a job once I'm there. Don't know if any of these updates help lol.. Isn't the Visa just for working or for people who aren't from Canada, Bermuda, etc. ?.
