  • I am a blue-collar Baltimore kid that was fortunate enough to attend local Cardinal Gibbons High School.? From there, I attended Loyola College of Baltimore, where I graduated with a double major in Political Science and History in 1989.? After attending the University of Maryland at Baltimore Law School and receiving my degree of Juris Doctor in 1992, I clerked for two Judges in the Circuit Court of Baltimore County for over one and one-half years.? That experience in a trial court setting helped prepare me for my career in litigation.? After running a solo practice and working the former Law Office of Turnbull, Mix and Farmer, I bring my more than eighteen years of trial and appellate experience to the Law Office of James E. Crawford, Jr. and Associates.? Having collaborated with Jim Crawford over the years, I know this office offers the personalized handling of cases that makes the difference case presentation.? When asked, I half joke that maybe the best preparation for being a lawyer was what I learned waiting tables and selling wine while working my way through school.? It’s listening to people and paying attention to the details that make the difference.? Using those skills coupled with the knowledge and experience gained over the years of practice makes the difference in maximizing the potential for each client in each case.

When we say we're "serious trial lawyers," it's more than just words.

Trial experience is trial experience. If you have it, as we do, it means that we can make a promise to our clients, not that we win every case ? no lawyer can make that guarantee ? but that we will do everything in our power to solve the problem and make things right.

We stand with you in your time of need and get the job done. We are trial lawyers, with an AV rating* from Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system. We truly care about the outcome of your case.

Family law is not an area of law where lawyers can separate themselves emotionally from what the client is going through. Divorce can be very difficult. So can child custody and visitation, and the matter of property division. A family law attorney must have some "skin in the game," so to speak.

What's the best way for a lawyer to get some skin in the game?

Going to bat for clients, as we have, countless numbers of times, in courtrooms all across Maryland. In fact, there's likely no courthouse in Maryland that we haven't personally set foot inside over our years of law practice.

Since 1992, we have represented people throughout Maryland, in all types of criminal,?family law, and personal injury?matters.

The elections of 2007 started the trend of ousting the current corrupt, incompetent political establishment. The elections of 2010 will continue the process.

Or as I see it make every one equal...."Hey they got something for nothing for not working, What the hell am I doing breaking my back....I can get just as much as them doing nothing also..." ...Eventually EVERYONE has nothing...Just like the old Soviet Union......

I would meet with a couple different estate attorneys and get their advice. Many attorneys will provide an initial consultation free of charge.
