• Lindsey earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and a bachelor's degree in political science from University of Georgia. Prior to practicing law at The Manely Firm, P.C., she clerked with the Honorable Chief Judge Roger W. Dunaway and the Honorable Harold H. Hinesley in the Toombs Judicial Circuit Superior Court. She also completed an externship with the Honorable Hugh P. Thompson of the Supreme Court of Georgia and an externship with LAMBDA Legal.

  While attending Georgia State University College of Law, Lindsey was the Symposium Editor for the school's Law Review and Vice President of the Oglethorpe Legal Society. I started writing letters to celebrities in 1976 when I was 15, (I'm 45 now).. . I have an very impressive collection of autographed photos and letters from stars that I treasure. When I wrote I would keep it short but would explain briefly why that person impressed me and referenced some of their work. I would NOT just gush about them but would write very honestly and add a request for an autograph.. . I explained that I knew that person had a very full schedule but would appreciate a reply when they had a moment. I would also include two unlined 3" X 5" notecards and a self-addressed stamped envelope for them to use. It usually worked because they had everything right there making it easy for them.. . You have to realize that most celebrities have assistants that do nothing but open and read mail, and some stars resort to machines that auto-sign their autographs. I would recommend patience, because sometimes it will take a few weeks to hear back, and persistance, because many of the folks that responded it was the second or third time I tried.. . Many of the folks I wrote to would send a photograph in addition to the cards I sent for them to use, but not all.. . I had better luck sending my requests to a home address, if available, but most were in care of an agent or the like. My source for addresses was "Who's Who in America" a very large multi-volume reference available in most city libraries.. . Good luck in your endeavor! Remember: short, honest, and persistant.

I hear a lot about it wih regards to American politics and religion, but don't fully understand. Can someone provide some information, preferably untainted with your own views, please?.

What are some things I could put on my resume to help me get a job in retail, considering I don't have retail experience?. . Also, after typing up my resume I noticed it looked very bland. Would it be okay to add a little colour to headings etc to make it stand out or is that a big no no?. And if it is okay to use colour, what colour could I use?.
