For the last few days I have been getting nothing a load of grief from my boss about my 'unprofessional emails' due to my use of exclamation marks in them.. . Now in the past he has acknowledged that i'm very good at communicating with customers, all over the world, because i'm usually friendly and chatty with them, if they wish to be obviously. As such i've built up a good working relationship with a lot of them and they send me very casual and informal email responses, often chatty and occasionally making the odd friendly joke etc.. . However all of a sudden he has decided to declare war on the use of exclamation marks in my emails, telling me that I sound unprofessional and that I am going to be fined ?1 for every exclamation mark I use. I have had a number of patronising emails asking if I am 'grammatically inept' and implying like i'm stupid, and telling me that he pays my wages so I will do what he tells me to do. If he made the point fairly and without belittling or patronising me I could accept it as constructive critisism, but it's not.. . A general email of mine would read something very similar to this:. . Dear XXXXXXXX,. . Many thanks for your email. As requested, I have attached a quotation for you for XXXX.. . If you have any questions please let me know!. . Kind regards,. . Laura.

Hi, I'm selling an old bicycle. It's barely used, but I still want to make sure I'm not liable in case something happens. Does anyone know where I can download a "Release of liability form" for selling bicycles? The only thing I see on the internet are for motor vehicles. Or the "Bill Of Sale" links that I get are the ones that you have to sign up and pay some ridiculous amount for a simple template.. . BTW--This bike is practically new, although it's about 7 years old. No known defects. I just want to make sure, because people sue for the craziest reasons these days.. . Thanks.

You need to submit a name change application to depol.. Nah just kidding, there's really no laws for christening your computer, you can call it what you like and change it's name whenever you like.. I have one computer I called Sheree, and there's her sister Shauna, she's a little bit slower.. My Laptop is called Dr. JoN.. I didn't see the need to give them sir names, so we just go on a first name basis.
