• Robert J. Deshaies was born in and attended school in Franklin, New Hampshire. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Tufts University in 1968, and his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1974.

  Bob has been practicing in Amesbury since 1974, and is a member of the Amesbury Lions Club. A resident of Exeter, New Hampshire, he was a member of the Exeter Zoning Board of Adjustment for ten years and has been and is currently on the board of civic organizations in both Amesbury and Exeter. He is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Open a Roth IRA and max it out (each of you, if you can afford to). You can open one anywhere you want and put any kind of funds (or stocks or bonds or even real estate) in there. Plus you can take your contributions back out penalty free at any time. I recommend Vanguard as well. Great funds, lots of choices (pick a target retirement date fund), and ultra-low costs.

they can seek authorization for you. I give candies to the person checking me in, the gate agent and some for the flight attendants. They also have the ability to upgrade on the spot in the cabin. If it doesn't work out, then you will at least make their day a bit better.. . I also used to be a flight attendant. While I never upgraded customers who asked for it and felt entitled to it, I would usually upgrade unsuspecting folks. Working in the business we fly standby when we travel, so having an upgrade over a leftover middle seat is always a treat! I typically looked for taller customers or folks sitting next to screaming kids. I didn't do it every flight but I did it often enough. My reasoning was that if you give a customer a sample of the upgrade, then you are going to get a loyal customer of it and they will probably realize that it is worth the money.
