My in laws left my husband and his sister their house but my husband was placed as the estate administrator. So far his sister has incurred $2500 worth of legal fees and has billed their parents estate. All of the bills against the estate are being out of my husband and mine personal bank. As the estates administrator how can we stop her from accruing any more debt against the estate?.

im planning to buy house,, but i heared that real estate will fall . will it be worth of waiting ?

My daughter was a professional model in NY for a few years until she gave it up to go to college. It's a tough industry. It's better if you and your parents can get to NYC in person. Most of the agencies have an open call day where you show up and they look at you. If they see something they are interested in they will talk to you. If you can't get to NYC take some pictures of yourself with a digital camera. If you have long hair pull it back. Wear little makeup. They want to see your face as it naturally is. Mail them your pictures. They will respond by sending your picture back with a letter to either get yourself to their company or a letter saying thanks but no thanks. NEVER pay for a portfolio. If an agency is interested in you they will contract the pictures themselves. A professional models portfolio does not look like a book with a bunch of pictures in it. It is usually one or two sheets with many different, small pictures on it. So don't let a photographer rip you off. Also never pay to get signed by an agency. The legitimate ones pay you, you don't pay them. Also don't pay for modeling school. They can not guarantee you a contract. I hope this advice helps. Also since I am a mom myself I am worried about you. You posted this on a national web site. Please remember there are predators out there. Do not under any circumstance meet with anyone who is claiming to be an agent on this web site. Discuss this with your parents. The modeling world is hard, lots of drugs, alcohol etc.....Please be careful.

If you are over 18 then you cannot get an ammended birth certificate. Instead you have to go to a courthouse in the US and have your name legally changed. Until a court grants you a legal name change - your 'official' name in the US is what is on your birth certificate. The name you are currently using is a nickname.. . The best thing for you to do is get the name on your passport changed to reflect your birth certificate and use the correct spelling in everyday life as a nickname.

I've been considering changing my name from Caitlyn Emma B***** to Gwen Elizabeth Homan. Homan is my maternal nan's maiden name, and Elizabeth keeps elements from both my actual surname, and the great-grandma I was named after. But I know that my parents put a lot of thought into my name, and it was the very first gift they gave me (apart from my life itself, of course), and because of that, I'm a little hesitant.. . So my question is, to all you parents out there - and all you non-parents, if you have an opinion on this - how do you think you would feel if your child changed their name?. . Thanks so much!. This question itself is probably better suited to parenting, but I'm a regular here, and the other regulars here give great answers. I don't know how it would go in the other parenting sections. At least it has something relevant to names..
