Yours faithfully,. . Fred Bloggs

. (sign the letter neatly and legibly--don't cram this into a small space)

readers, writers(amateur & experienced) etc!. Thanks in advance:). True. I don't know much about technical stuff or how to handle the problems that could arise from the site and all that - yes, I know, but everybody started somewhere, right?. Its not like its so necessary that people come. Nope, that's not my worry. There are other things I could do with it for myself (I just enjoy doing things), Anyway, I have joined Wattpad and am looking forward to some good stuff on there. Thanks for your responses!.

.. . What's that Mr. President? Who wants to know these things? . We the People of the United States of America ! You know, the ones that vote.. Obama

'Formal standard' is essentially the style of writing that I am using here. It is the style used for professional correspondence and for college papers. If you want to convince an admissions board that you are fit for college, this is how you must write.. . * Don't use 'u' for 'you' or 'n' for 'in.' Capitalize the first letter of each sentence. Capitalize the personal pronoun 'I.'. * Use complete sentences.. * State clearly why you wish to attend the college you are applying for and what your career plans are for the degree you hope to earn.. * Proofread your application letter, and ask someone, such as your English teacher, to proofread it, as well. Your teacher might also suggest other information you might include.. * Be polite and professional in your letter, rather than friendly.. * Follow any instructions the college might give you for submitting the application.. * Best of luck! :)
