It depends on what type of real estate job you are looking for.. . If you want to build houses, apartments, office buildings. You want to be a developer. This takes the most effort and money, but you will earn the most profit. You are to hire contractors to build for you, you pay them based on contract and jobs, normally deduct 5-10% of their overall income, hold onto it for 1-2 years, or whatever the contract you guys agreed with to make repairs and upkeeps. Its important to have experience in the fields of business management, or urban planning. <- I would say these majors are quite useful in this field. I would say with a public relations major, it is also an important skill to have, because communicating with the government, getting approvals can be easy or hard, depending on your personality and charisma.

Do people know that universal health care goes against everything our country stands for and would ruin us ?

This is a very hard decision that can be almost impossible to make. I'll just put it like this: if he more to live for, keep him on there. If he's lived a good long life, it might be his time..... Since this is your decsion, you can do what you think is best.

On my birth certificate document it now says "Mamie" as my middle name. My mom says it's suppose to be "Maria" which is her first name but my dad says it's suppose to be "Marie". I know it may not seem like a big name change but I hate that its "Mamie" because it sounds weird and my mom also hates that my middle name isn't her first name "Maria". I just want my name corrected but I also don't know which one to choose. I kind of think my name sounds better with Marie but I know my mom will be mad if I don't take her name. So does anyone have any ideas of how I can change it to the one I like without my mom flipping out on me??? I'm 19 years old and I was also wondering if I have to go through a legal name change and randomly how much will it cost/what do I need...Greatly appreciate the ones that help me^^.

I received a letter in the mail stating I owed $901 from an old utility bill from 2004. I spoke with the collector and in a panic I agreed to make the payment within 30 days. Upon doing some research I found that theres really not much they can do.. Although I feel like a made a big mistake by agreeing to pay it.. I called them back and spoke to a manager stating that I wanted proof of the debt before I just went and paid $900 for something I wasn't completely sure about.. I did know that I owed some money from the old bill but I didnt remember it being that high. What should I do? I dont want them to 'renew' the debt and get reported for it just because I was in a panic and just agreed to pay it.. They said they would settle for $650 but if I dont have to pay them anything because its so old then I dont want to.. Ive never received prior letters in the mail and have never had this item show up on a credit report so I had no previous knowledge of this bill. What actions can they take if I dont pay since I agreed the first time to pay it - but I called back and said I wanted proof.. Can I still dispute the claim or is it too late since I already agreed?. Also I live in the State of New York if that helps.. . So a verbal agreement to pay over the phone isn't going to prevent me from being able to send a debt validation letter and an SOL letter? The agreement must be in writing? Thats what my main concern was.. . Anywhoo: thanks so much for your help. So basically I am still in the clear on this situation? I just have to send the letters and then I should be fine? Since it was only a verbal communication between us then Im still not obligated since its past the SOL? What if I dont send any letters to them? What actions could be taken? Im just not understanding what difference there is since its past the SOL anyway.. . timothy: thanks for your help too! This is my actual first time using this and Im really surprised at how fast and helpful this was.. thanks again! .
