I am a Catholic who has recently been confirmed and I was wondering if it was possible to get my confirmation name on my drivers license because I consider it part if my full name but it's not on anything official. I hope I wouldn't have to get a name change to do this..

Don't bother sending the letter now, unless the laws of your state specifically require it.. . Wait until the name change is complete, and you have a copy of the court order (or other official document) stating that the name change has been approved. Then, send a copy of that to anyone you need to notify.. . If the laws specifically require that you notify your creditors, then just send they a letter saying that you have petitioned to have your name changed. Include your account number or other identifying information, the same as you would for any other correspondence with the company.. . Send it by certified mail, so you have a record that they received the letter, and keep a copy of each one for your own records, so you can show the court.

A letter of reference is written by someone who knows you (a 'referee') and will give details of your character, your standard of work, your attitudes etc etc.. . It is best if you choose people who know you from an academic viewpoint, and perhaps one person who knows you from an out-of-school activity.. . One of your referees should be your principal/headteacher. All should be adults, preferably with professional qualifications.. . No referee should be a member of your family, or a close personal friend.. . References are usually confidential, and you probably will never see the letters.. . It is courteous and sensible to ask the people concerned if they are happy to act as your referees before putting their names down on the form.

The best thing to do is research as much as possible the TYPE of law you want to go into. Estate law- for planning peoples estates etc. Criminal Law- defending criminals Business Law- for helping small business with issues they have Corporate Law - for defending big business against law suits and helping with mergers. Do you want to be a District Attorney or a Defense Lawyer. What about Criminology? Criminal Psychology? The best thing to probably do would be go to your local community college and meet with an advisor in the law department and ask a lot of questions. Most of these advisors will help to steer you on the right path. They may even lend you a book or two to get started on what you need to learn. Sometimes you can even take an online course through your community college that doesnt give you credit to help introduce you to the field. Your major in college will be Criminal Justice and then when you hit post-grad you will be in "law school"

I saved a document on Works Word and it was perfect. I re-opened it, and it was gibberish. Microsoft didn't help. And no one can understand what's wrong with it.. I've tried opening it with every different form of Word, I've even emailed it to myself but it still opens as gibberish.. Plus, it was twelve pages long. It's now one hundred and forty-four.. It's not the font, because I've tried changing that too.. If you could help me, I'd be forever grateful.. Please and thank you..
