    Melinda Sherman received her law degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1992, was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1992 and the Colorado bar in 1993. Melinda has practiced law in Steamboat Springs for almost 20 years, focusing in the areas of real property, business, banking, special district, zoning, municipal, home owner associations, estate planning, and water law. Her practice involves representing local clients as well as clients nationwide. She worked as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Steamboat Springs from 1993 to 1998. Melinda actively supports the Steamboat Springs community and dedicates her time to many community service organizations. She served as past Commissioner on the City of Steamboat Springs Parks and Recreation Commission.
