  • I learned about insurance claims long before coming to Taylor Stafford. My father, Cecil Harris, was a claims adjuster in Central Missouri for Federated Insurance for 29 years. He taught me a great deal about handling claims before I ever went to law school. When I was in high school and college I would help him investigate losses from time to time. I still draw on that experience today in my insurance defense practice, and I think that it helps me understand insurance defense litigation.

I also draw upon my undergraduate education in accounting to assist me in business litigation. My business education gives me the ability to understand the complex business and financial issues that can arise in business litigation. It also allows me to better understand the needs of my business and corporate clients concerning the day to day operation of their businesses and advise them accordingly.

I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your legal needs.

estate planning

First off, if you answer these questions, please be as unbiased as possible. I don't want to hear how evil the democrats are or how evil the republicans are. Okay, if the government offers a public option, does that mean that their health insurance will be cheaper or free? If it's just cheaper, what if some people still can't afford it? Will they be refused medical care if they need it? Also, I've heard people say that if there was free health care, it'd take months to get in to see a doctor. I know some doctors are already like this, but would general physicians be? If so, then why do so many other countries have free health care?. Marsha, do you not know what unbiased means? Your answer was not helpful in the least.. Okay, if you aren't going to ANSWER the questions, then don't say anything!.

An Estate Planning - A-B Trust question?

I have to write a letter requesting an application for salon license..

I have heard that the best time to start a small business is during a recession like now. Because everything you need is cheaper. But even my local hometown bank is skittish on business lending. What assistance is their to people that have a good credit score like me..

Is there a website where I can find how to write an effective resume or does anyone have any comments on what an employer looks for in a resume..or any tips on resumes? Also, what should a cover letter have in it, does a cover letter make a difference? Thank you.

I would probably be wondering, too, especially if these are like any other stocks and bonds, which are usually traded electronically, and don't really have to be liquidated. Really, I can understand taking a little while to sell a cottage (especially in the winter, or if it hasn't been updated or 100% maintained). But maybe it's time to ask what, exactly, this person is doing, and why it is taking so long.
