  • A Brief History Of Bendall & Mednick Built on the Philosophy of "Real Lawyers for Real People"

Jim Bendall began his legal career with the Troy, N.Y firm of Viger & Armstrong in 1971. Jim was admitted to practice on a Friday. The following Monday Morning he tried his first case. He won. Four years later, in 1976, he opened his own office in Schenectady, NY. Over the course of the next 14 years, Jim's office grew to include associate attorneys, but the focus of the firm remained centered on providing high quality legal work to hardworking, real people.

In 1990, Kevin Mednick had joined Jim's office as an associate, after a distinguished career in the Orange County District Attorney's office. Kevin has an extensive background as a trial attorney including the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice cases as well as the prosecution and defense of criminal cases. Over the past ten years, the focus of his practice has evolved to consist almost entirely of plaintiff's work in the areas of personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice. Jim and Kevin share a similar sensibility about balancing the demands of plaintiff's practice with the importance of family life. In 1993, Jim welcomed Kevin as a partner in the firm.

Four years later, Jim's son Jamie joined the firm as an associate. In 1997, Bendall & Mednick opened an office in Atlanta, GA, marking yet another milestone in the history of the firm.

Today, the law firm of Bendall & Mednick can represent injured people in New York, Georgia, Massachusetts, and California. We pride ourselves on being accessible to our clients and our reputation among attorneys. We have handled cases for thousands of families, and have handled the trial aspect of cases for scores of attorneys.

Attorneys write pretty good legal letters, so you might consider hiring one.. . But they may advise you leave this alone. In the US, most employers do not give out much information about their former employees other than to confirm that they worked there and that they are, or are not, eligible to be rehired.. . They keep quiet so that they cannot be sued by former employees who think they said "anything bad".. . So your letter is probably not necessary. But talk to that attorney so that you know exactly what "rights" you have and what rights your former employer has.. . Because even though you might sue them, there is no law that prevents them from telling others the truth about you. They can even give their opinion of you and your work habits, even if the opinion is bad.. . Good luck in your next job.

I don't believe snailmail will be completely eradicated from business workings, especially since hard copies of important documents need to be kept (such as contracts).. . Email is becoming more present, however. Which, is good considering the saving of trees.

Is water a living form of life?

It depends. I usually write letters to family. With friends I'll mail cards and send e-mails so I guess you can say I do both. If I write someone a letter and they answer with an e-mail, then I'll e-mail them from then on because to me that means that that is what they prefer. If I write an e-mail and they answer with a letter, then I'll write letters from then on. I like e-mail because the response time is a lot faster and I don't have to worry about letters getting lost in the mail, but I do see how it seems impersonal.

So, we finally got married, over a year ago, and now she has the starter green card, 6 months ago, and she still wont change her name. She says she isnt ready to. What the heck does that mean? And why does it bother me so much?.

all this knowledge about what is and isn't pseudepigraphic comes from textcritical analysis, and not any sort of access/lack of access to "offocial books.". . Christians can defend the legitimacy of the official books for a few reasons:. . - the apparent care used by our fore-bearers in picking them: even the Gospel of John, considered the most recent gospel, is now known to be first century ancient (the Rylands fragment makes this a near certainty.). . - the fact that it comes from the church, the oldest continuously-existing organization in the world
