The Old Testament was written by Jews, for Jews, and includes the history of the nation of Israel from the beginning, down through the very last of the prophets. All of the laws were given only to Jews, not to Gentiles.. . The NT was not written by one man. Paul wrote the majority of the books, that's true, but he did not write all of them. Luke, John, Peter, James, Jude, Matthew, and John Mark also contributed. Peter was one of Jesus' apostles, and so were Matthew and John. Mark was a disciple of Peter's. James and Jude were relatives of Jesus' (Catholics say they were cousins, Protestants say they were brothers). Luke was an apostle and travel companion of Paul's. Of course they were all very knowledgeable about Christianity. Paul knew several of the apostles personally, like Peter.. . The Trinity is not mentioned in the Bible, and it certainly wasn't invented by Paul. However, the Trinity concept is throughout the Bible, from Genesis on. In Genesis, it's mentioned that Adam and Eve directly interacted with God, and heard Him "moving about" or "walking" in the Garden. How could they hear Him, if He had no body? Also, who did Jacob wrestle? The Bible is clear, and even the Hebrew Tanakh states, that it was God. How could a man wrestle with God, unless God took on the shape of a man? God's spirit is also mentioned several times. So Jesus and the Holy Spirit both make an appearance even in the OT. In the first chapter of the gospel according to John, Jesus was with God in the beginning, and was God. He also states that Jesus was the Creator. How can Jesus be the Creator, if He is not God?. . Am I right in assuming you're Muslim? If so, much of this probably won't make sense to you, because your religion does not believe that Jesus was the Son of God, or God Himself.
