When a couple gets married, both have the OPTION to change their last name to that of their spouse's. Simplified, the man is allowed to change his name to that of his wife, and the wife is allowed to change her name to that of her husband. It's also allowed to add just a name or hyphenate.. . Example:. . John Doe married Jane Blonde. . John can remain John Doe, can become John Blonde, can become John Doe-Blonde, or can become John Doe Blonde.. Jane can remain Jane Blonde, can become Jane Doe, can become Jane Blonde-Doe, or can become Jane Blonde-Doe.. . It's a CHOICE.. So you can keep your name, or take your wife's last name as your family name. That's all you can do.. . You cannot change your name in the United States any other way before you become a US citizen, and I'll explain to you why.. . Let's say you can change your name from Javier Hernandez to Prince William of Cortez, okay? Once you are eligible for naturalization, you can easily change your name as part of the process.

I plan on doing a nude photo shoot with a model shortly. This photo shoot is simply for fun and the pictures will not be shared, displayed or put online. The model and myself have agreed that it is simply a fun photo shoot. . The model dosn't really want to sign any form, but has id to prove age.. So is a model release form really needed if the pictures are not for commercial or online purposes?
