• Mr. Shepherd is a partner in the firm's workers' compensation department and has been a member of the firm for twenty-nine years. John has thirty-one years of experience in handling workers' compensation claims. He is a 1969 graduate of the University of Illinois and 1975 graduate from John Marshall School of Law. Mr. Shepherd concentrates his practice exclusively in workers' compensation litigation, representing employers and insurance carriers. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer on workers' compensation issues, having spoken most recently for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the National Business Institute, as well as the Illinois State Bar Association Continuing Education Seminar annually, and Winnebago County Bar Association Seminars on workers' compensation.

  His professional affiliations include memberships in the Winnebago County, American and Illinois Bar Associations, member and Vice-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, member of the Illinois Self-Insurers Association, the Workers' Compensation Lawyer's Association and was a member of the Board of Directors of that organization in 1991. Mr. Shepherd is also a Fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation, and served as Past President of the Winnebago County Bar Foundation. Mr. Shepherd will become the Chairperson of the Workers' Compensation Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association in June 2007.

  Mr. Shepherd serves on the Board of Directors of WilliamsMcCarthy LLP and is also on the Board of Directors of Janet Wattles Mental Health Center where he serves on the H.R. Committee and the Corporate Compliance Committee.

HOW TO NOTIFY customers of number change???

I would like to have children one day too but I do not need it puked in my face every minute. I cannot deal with the hormones and mood swings. The gossip...friend one day and foe the next. I have a woman boss who acts like my best friend one day then the next treats me like just an employee. I cannot deal with any of them anymore. Not to mention the emails that go out during the most busiest of times saying "guess what...so and so is gonna be a big sister" Seriously great...but I have crap load of work and you just sent a mass email out to the team with news that should really be said privately!. . I have submitted my resume to other companies in hopes of a better more rewarding place. In the meantime please help me survive as I just found out my entire management team is pregnant. Totally shocked as I thought one of them was definitely heading to divorce.
