Mistranslation: The two letter word "is", is usually not stated in Hebrew. Rather,"is" is understood. For example, the words "hakelev" (the dog) and "gadol" (big), when joined into a sentence -- hakelev gadol -- means "the dog IS big," even though no Hebrew word in that sentence represents the word "is." A more accurate translation of the name of that child, then, would be "A wonderful counselor is the mighty G-d, the everlasting father ..." Like the name "Emanuel," this name describes G-d, not the person who carries the name.

If there is no father's name on the BC, you can file a statement of paternity. I believe we got the form through DHS. You both have to sign swearing that he is the biological father and on ours there was a place that asked if we wanted the child's last name changed to his. I don't think it cost us anything except the fee for a copy of the new birth certificate. Talk to your local DHS office or the Department of Vital Statistics. Be sure that this is what you want to do though, because once you do, you will not be able to change it back without a fight.

Last name: Tyreman. Background?

Some photo purveyors (including stock houses) have their own specific releases that they require photographers to use. Some photo contests require releases if someone in your picture is recognizable.. . Good luck. Do your own Web research with Google or Bing - not here - so you can learn what it's about and evaluate the info firsthand vs. distilled by someone on Yahoo who doesn't know what the blank they're talking about but acts like they do and misleads you.

Is you mother or step-father still alive ? or ask the relative in the UK to help, if you know the rough date and the place where your name was changed I am sure the relevant records office can get you a copy of the paperwork.

How do I do a full name change?
