I'm trying to complete a Agreement Contract and the wording for the contract. Just want to be sure I'm not leaving ouot the MOST IMPORTANT stuff for one Thanks!.

Your fiance should respect your wishes! It's your name after all. Tell him that part of your acceptance to his proposal is contingent on him taking YOUR last name and see how well he likes it.

My mother is nearing 80 and is progressing into dementia. If she continues like her mother did, she'll soon need someone living with her all the time or need to be in a nursing home to make sure she's taking care of herself, eating well and not wandering off. And then she'll live well into her 90s! She has virtually no assets - just a car and household items, a low life insurance policy (probably enough to cover funeral expenses only). I have the opporutnity to get a good deal on Long Term Care Insurance for her, but I don't know if she really needs it. Will Medicare pay for her care - whether at home or in a nursing home - since she has no assets? I don't know if Medicare is the same throughout all states or not...if it makes any difference, we live in Minnesota.. Correction...I meant Medicaid.. She has no home. She lives in a subsidized senior apartment..

Someone called DHS due to the abandonment and DHS wants to take the children into fostercare due to my sisters volitale behavior. They'll leave the children in my mother's care as long as she has custody of some sort. Otherwise my sister can come in and out of their lives and take them and then leave them again at her will, because she doesn't think about the safty and well being of her children. Now, if Sis takes the kids, DHS will step in and put them into foster care because she is not a fit parent and Mom doesnt' have custody. They're basically floating in limbo right now.. We desperately need a legal document that gives Mom custody of these kids so that they are safe from being ripped out of this family. They are very loved and cherished in home with Mom and myself, Mom's neighbor.. I've posted this in another forum... This is how desperate we are.. Thanks for the help so far.
