I had my teen's pics done with Crest Modeling Agency..paid $1200. for a photo shoot, comp cards, website exposure, modeling book. Gordon took half the comp cards i paid for, saying he was sending them out to agencies...months later no calls for even an audition. When asked to produce the list for the companies he supposedly sent out, he gives a page out of an already printed book. yet when those agencies were called, they hadnt even heard of Crest nor my teen. i have been able to contact several others that were part of our shoot and they have had the same experience. The guy comes across real genuine, like a grandpa. The lack of office staff and the piles of cards on the floor that obviously some poor model hopeful like my teens paid for...should be the obvious clue that this guy is scamming people. the photographer is not flying in as claimed...and the make up artist and hair stylists arent are some inexperienced girls with no idea of what they are doing. He advertises everyday, yet when you call in his frail sounding wife says he only advertises twice per year. not true. Buyer Beware..

Once you have received the documentation for your EAD, you must go in person to the nearest Social Security Administration office with your passport, EAD & immigration documentation, and apply for a Social Security number. It takes about 4 weeks to receive your Social Security card since they will verify your status with immigration before issuing the card, then it's mailed.. . It's weird, but the Social Security office will not accept a birth certificate as proof of identity / citizenship. You can use your shot records or passport with probably no issue. Since you are underage, I would suggest that you bring your parent with you, just in case.
